ImPAct Luncheon Keynote Speaker Announced
The ImPAct Conference has partnered with the Erie Regional Chamber and Growth Partnership to host Steven S. Little at our keynote luncheon and we invite you to attend. Little, an expert speaker, writer and business consultant, is the author of The Milkshake Moment and The 7 Irrefutable Rules of Small Business Growth.
Throughout the 1980s and 90s, Mr. Little was President of three fast growth companies. Both FAME, Inc. and Erb Industries, Inc. achieved profitable growth rates of over 500% during Mr. Little's tenure. As President of The Queensboro Shirt Company, Steve helped to build one of the country's most successful sites for Internet commerce.
ImPAct Morning Keynote Announced
Krista Canfield, public relations director for popular social networking site LinkedIn will provide the morning keynote address at the 2008 ImPAct Conference. Canfield's presentation is being sponsored by eBizITPA.
Her presentation, entitled “Advance Your Career through Networking...the Old and the New Way!” will explore how online tools and social media outlets like LinkedIn, Naymz, Facebook, MySpace, and others have taken networking to a new level. She will describe successful ways young professionals have found jobs, broadened their horizons and understanding of their chosen industry, and taken their careers to the next level through these online channels.

Best Practices Now Being Accepted
Learning from the successes of young professional groups from across the Commonwealth is one of the most important components of the ImPAct Conference. The 2008 Conference will feature a best practices presentation session on Sunday morning at the Tom Ridge Environmental Center. Young professional groups from across the state are encouraged to submit their best practices to the Confernce committee for consideration during the program. If your group is interested in being part of the Conference and would like to submit your best practice, please fill out the form located at the ImPAct website.

All submissions must be received by August 8th and the selected groups will be notified by August 15th.
ImPAct Road Tour - Coming to Altoona
To build awareness for the Conference and increase attendance for the event, the Conference committee is developing several ImPAct Road Tour stops across the Commonwealth. With the assistance of local YP groups, our goal is to create informational sessions to encourage you and your members to attend the 2008 Conference. If your group has an upcoming event that we can attend or would like to host a new event, please contact Matt Wiertel or Rebecca Styn.
